The customer whose house is in the pictures below was very happy they no longer had to worry about water in their basemen whenever it rained. This was also their first step in protecting their basement before getting their basement finish which is another project we will be helping them complete in the future.

In this case, there is a 12mill vapor barrier mechanically fastened to the walls, interior drainage system underground around the entire perimeter, which then goes to a two pump sump system with a battery backup pumping the water up, out and away from the home to truly protect them fully on those rainy days, even when the power goes out! They also opted to have a dehumidifier/air purifier installed and draining directly into the sump so they never have to worry about it overflowing or having to dump the bin when it’s full. It’s a self contained system the only require changing the filter every 6 months to 1 year.
